How Compare Tree Loppers is funded
Compare Tree Loppers is free to use. When you ask for quotes through our form, we pass your request to up to 2 tree businesses that cover your area. Those businesses may pay us for the requests we send them. That's how the site pays for itself.
Featured placements
We may offer businesses a featured spot on a page in future. If we do, it will always carry a visible Featured label, and it won't change the editorial order of the list below it.
What payment never buys
- A place on a list, or a higher position. Rankings are editorial and follow our method.
- A way around our checks. We only send quote requests to businesses that meet the same standards as everyone on our lists.
- Any say over what we write. Businesses don't see or approve their write-ups before they go up.
Calling a business directly
You don't have to use our form. Every listing shows the business's own phone number and website, and contacting them direct costs you nothing extra.

Links to listed businesses are marked nofollow in our code.
We're not a tree service
Compare Tree Loppers is an independent comparison site. We don't do tree work or give arborist advice. Your agreement is between you and the business you choose, so confirm qualifications, insurance, council approval and price with them directly.
